A heat exchanger is a component used throughout the process industry, a heat exchanger, as the name describes, is used to exchange heat(or cooling) between two systems. There are many types of heat exchanger that can be selected as per system requirements the three most common being:
- Shell and tube
- Plate
- Double pipe The working principle across all types are similar, simply connecting or placing two circulation loops close to eachother to allow the heat to transfer between them with the dimensions of these loops defined by the requirements of your system.
