Chilled water, commonly abbreviated as CHW, is a water supply used as an industrial service typically in cooling systems such as a Heat Exchanger.
Chilled water is typically served in a closed loop (The same water is recirculated), simply being re-chilled rather than consumed and re-supplied.
Chilled water loops can be mixed with Glycols to allow the water to be supplied at a lower temperature as well as prevent freezing and thus damage to pipes and systems.
