(Continuous) Particulate Monitoring, or CPM, is a part of required Environmental Monitoring System for area classification. Graded areas come with requirements on the size of particles allowed, amount of particles allowed for each size and the monitoring requirements of the area (Continuous or periodic).
Fixed Isokinetic probes are typically installed in critical areas such as within an Isolator or RABS such as in Filling or at Autoclave exist. These fixed probes can run throughout full manufacturing cycles alerting if limits are hit in real time.
Mobile Isokinetic probes are commonly used in less critical or lower graded areas for routine testing or testing airflow post room or equipment modification.
